Solution:
Either close the Excel file before inserting it as an object into Word or copy and paste it instead.
To insert the Excel worksheet into Word, do one or both of the following:
1) Close the Excel file before inserting it as an object into the Word document.
2) Copy and Paste the file into Word.
a) Copy the worksheet in Excel.
b) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Close'.
c) Open Word.
d) Place the insertion point where the worksheet will be inserted.
e) Select the 'Edit' menu and do one of the following:
